- Mapping Task
- Synchronization Task
- Masking Task
- Replication Task

How to create a Task
To create any of these tasks, navigate to Data Integration → New → and select the desired task type.
Individual Task Types
1. Mapping Task
Also called a Mapping Configuration Task (MCT). Used to create a configuration on an existing IICS mapping.
2. Synchronization Task
Used to synchronize data between a source and target system.
3. Data Transfer Task
Employed to move data from source to target — primary use case is data movement operations.
4. Masking Task
Applied to mask sensitive fields in source data with realistic test data for non-production environments.
5. Replication Task
Utilised to replicate data to target systems — including backup scenarios.
6. PowerCenter Task
Enables execution of PowerCenter sessions within IICS Data Integration.
7. Dynamic Mapping Task
Creates and batches multiple jobs based on the same mapping configuration.
